ON THE EDGE
“On the Edge” were inspired by one of the images taken by the photographer, Christian Fletcher, for a ‘Photographer – Painters Group Show’ at Linton & Kay Gallery in October 2024.
This series of works done in 2025 consist of primary coloured rectangles collaged informally on the edge of the canvas, within a grid, creating a relationship between form, structure, space and colour.
These works are also a homage to Piet Mondrian and the Dutch ‘De Stijl’ movement of the early 20th century.
